Effective presentation of a listed building proposal and project management of a consultant team secures planning permission.
The Grade II listed Great Durnford Manor on the banks of the River Avon and within a conservation area was in need of major interior renovation and external enhancement. The opportunity was also taken to create a new basement level, underground swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool and pavilion, tennis court, and renovation to an access road.
Through the effective presentation of the proposal via our Design & Access Statement, and managing the information produced by the heritage consultant, we persuaded the Council to grant planning permission and listed building consent, without the need for Planning Committee approval.
