With a previous planning consultant having failed to secure consent, we undertook a forensic review of evidence that had informed the Council’s position. This enabled us to devise a strategy to overcome the policy objection. A review of the function of the development and the way in which it would be used by its occupants addressed concerns relating to design and amenity. We were successful in overturning the previous reasons for refusal.
